- Measure voltage at Red wire going into ignition cartridge. With ignition on, voltmeter should indicate battery voltage.
- Turn ignition off. Remove No. 14 fuse (fuel pump). Remove ignition cartridge and spark plugs. Install spark plugs into ignition cartridge. Using jumper wires, connect negative electrodes of spark plugs together. Ground other ends of jumper wires.
- With ignition key, crank engine and observe tachometer. Needle of tachometer should hunt. Ensure there is spark at all spark plugs. Release ignition key to RUN position for approximately 5 seconds. Ensure tachometer needle hunts and multiple sparks occur at spark plugs.
