  1. Turn ignition on. On 9000 Series with ECU part No. 9124074, engine must be allowed to idle approximately 15 minutes. On all other models, engine does not have to be running and there is no delay period.
  2. On all models, if SRS warning light comes on for about 6 seconds then goes out, system is operating properly. If light remains on, a fault exists in the system.
  3. If a fault occurs in the system while ignition switch is on, SRS warning light will flash for about 10 minutes and then stay lit. If air bag is deployed, SRS warning light will flash for about 5 seconds and then stay lit.
