Engine Oiling System Specifications: Notes
Oil pressure is generated by a gear-type oil pump with one gear wheel and an eccentric ring gear. Oil pump is mounted on timing cover and is driven by a driving plate mounted on crankshaft. Oil is circulated through a full flow filter, to oil channels which feed main bearings, rod bearings and valve train.

When to See a Mechanic
