  1. Operate engine to normal operating temperature. Disconnect wiring connector from throttle switch. Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between throttle switch plug and ground when the throttle switch is released.
  2. Reconnect wiring to switch. Replace throttle switch if no continuity exists.
