Removal

1) Apply hand brake and loosen wheel lug nuts. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel assembly. Remove handbrake cable from bracket on spring link. Support control arm with floor jack. Slightly raise arm and disconnect lower end of shock absorber.

2) Support rear axle with safety stand. Disconnect control arm from body. Carefully lower control arm and remove coil spring, spring support and rubber spacer.

Installation

Replace self-locking nuts that attach control arm to body. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation.
