Throttle Control Test (Closed Position)

- Ensure throttle is able to fully close when dashpot plunger is depressed. Remove harness connector from throttle switch. Ensure throttle is fully closed.
- Connect ohmmeter across throttle switch terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be present when throttle is closed. Move throttle to off-idle position. Resistance should not be present.
- If resistance is correct, proceed to THROTTLE CONTROL TEST (OPEN POSITION) test. If resistance is incorrect, loosen throttle switch adjusting screws and rotate switch to correct switch position.
