The remote functions can be customized according to the customer preference.
IMPORTANT:
- After confirming whether the items requested by the customer are applicable or not for customization, perform customizing operations.
- Be sure to record the current settings before customizing.
- Before troubleshooting the theft deterrent system, pay attention because there is a possibility that a function has been disabled by customizing. If the wireless operation does not function, check that the wireless operation has not been disabled by customizing, then perform troubleshooting.
- Turn the ignition OFF.
- Connect the scan tool.
- Turn the scan tool ON, and select the customize setting for the remote functions.
- Select the setting by referring to the following table:

| Panic Function | ON | Function operates the theft deterrent system when PANIC switch on transmitter is pressed and held for 0.8 seconds or more. | ON / OFF |
| Wireless Auto Lock | OFF | Function to control automatic relocking of doors after unlocking with wireless door lock function. | ON / OFF |
