The remote functions can be customized according to the customer preference.

IMPORTANT:
  • After confirming whether the items requested by the customer are applicable or not for customization, perform customizing operations.
  • Be sure to record the current settings before customizing.
  • Before troubleshooting the theft deterrent system, pay attention because there is a possibility that a function has been disabled by customizing. If the wireless operation does not function, check that the wireless operation has not been disabled by customizing, then perform troubleshooting.
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Connect the scan tool.
  3. Turn the scan tool ON, and select the customize setting for the remote functions.
  4. Select the setting by referring to the following table:

Wireless Control ON ON / OFF of wireless door lock function. ON / OFF
Hazard Answer Back ON When LOCK switch on transmitter is pressed, all hazard warning lights illuminate once. When UNLOCK switch is pressed, all hazard warning lights illuminate twice. ON / OFF
Unlock 2 Operation ON Function that unlocks driver side door when UNLOCK switch on transmitter is pressed once, and unlocks all doors when pressed twice. If setting is OFF, pressing unlock switch once makes all door unlock. ON / OFF
Panic Function ON Function operates the theft deterrent system when PANIC switch on transmitter is pressed and held for 0.8 seconds or more. ON / OFF
Wireless Auto Lock OFF Function to control automatic relocking of doors after unlocking with wireless door lock function. ON / OFF
Auto Lock Time 60 seconds Function controls amount of time from unlocking doors to automatic re-locking function. 30 seconds, 60 seconds or 120 seconds
