1. Inspect the housing for the following:
* Worn or damaged splines
* Worn or damaged bushings
* Wear, cracks and scoring on the shaft
2. Install the direct clutch housing hub thrust washer (9) into the housing (10).
3. Install the direct clutch housing (10) into the case.
