Removal Procedure

2009 Pontiac G8 BaseSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Fig 1: Top Of Engine View

  3. Disconnect the purge line (3) from the purge valve solenoid.

  5. Disconnect the purge valve solenoid electrical connector.

  7. Disconnect the purge line from the manifold side of the purge valve solenoid.
  8. Remove the purge valve solenoid from the bracket.
