Installation Procedure
- Install the engine mounting lower bracket (2).
- Install the engine mounting lower bracket mounting bolts (1).
Tighten:Β Tighten the engine mounting lower bracket bolts to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).
- Install the engine mount reaction rod mounting bolt and nut (3).
Tighten:Β Tighten the engine mount lower bracket, attaching reaction rod bolt and nut to 83 N.m (61 lb ft).
- Install the generator-adjusting bolt (1). Leave loose at this time.
- Install the generator lower bracket bolt and nut (2). Leave loose at this point.
- Install the generator drive belt.
- Adjust the generator so the drive belt is tight.
Tighten:Β
- Tighten the generator lower bracket bolt and nut to 28 N.m (21 lb ft).
- Tighten the generator-adjusting bolt to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
- Connect the harness connector to the back of the generator (2).
- Connect the generator battery lead and install the nut (1).
Tighten:Β Tighten the generator battery lead nut to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
- Inspect the generator drive belt tension.
