  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the CKP sensor nut (2).
  4. Remove the CKP sensor (1) from the engine.
  5. Inspect for wear, cracks or leakage if the CKP sensor is being reused.
