- Install the intake manifold gasket, if necessary.
- Install the intake manifold.NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
- Install the intake manifold bolts and nuts.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolts and nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Connect the engine harness electrical connector (1) to the knock sensor harness.
- Install the knock sensor connector clip to the oil level indicator tube.
- Connect the engine harness electrical connector (1) to the fuel injector inline electrical connector (2).
- Install the fuel injector inline connector clip to the intake manifold.
- Install the oil level indicator tube bolt.
Tighten:Β Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
- Install the brake booster hose to the intake manifold.
- Position the brake booster vacuum hose clamp at the intake manifold.
- Install the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve tube. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .
- Install the fuel rail. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly Replacement .
- Install the throttle body. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
