Mirror Face Replacement

1 Mirror Glass, Outside Rearview
Tip:Β 
  1. Apply masking tape to the top of the outside of the mirror housing to prevent damage.
  2. Push the mirror face inward at the bottom until full travel is reached.
  3. Insert a J 38778Β  Door Trim Pad Clip Remover or equivalent behind the glass and the first rib support and pry outward until the mirror face is released.
  4. When installing the mirror glass, align the mirror face to the backing plate and apply pressure, using a rubber sanding block or equivalent, until an audible click is heard.
