2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front floor console bracket assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Bracket Assembly Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: Locating Yaw Rate Sensor/Lateral Accelerometer

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the yaw rate sensor.
  4. Remove the nuts (2) retaining the yaw rate sensor.
  5. Remove the yaw rate sensor (1) from the console bracket.
