Installation Procedure

2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install EBCM onto the BPMV if replacing the BPMV only. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module ReplacementΒ .

  3. Install BPMV and EBCM as an assembly onto the mounting bracket studs.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Install the bolt that connects the BPMV assembly to the mounting bracket.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the BPMV bracket to the strut tower.
  8. Install the 3 nuts (2) that attach the BPMV mounting bracket to the strut tower.

    Tighten:Β 

    • Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
    • Reposition any lines or hoses that were moved out of place.
