  1. Route the antenna base and cable assembly as noted in the removal.
  2. Connect the antenna cable to the antenna extension lead.
  3. Install the cowl side trim panel. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the instrument panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement .
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  6. Tighten the locking nut in order to secure the antenna base to the fender.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  7. Install the antenna mast.
