Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  2. Remove the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement .

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  2. Program the theft deterrent control module after replacement. Refer to Control Module References .
