Body Control Module (BCM) Replacement and Reprogramming

If the BCM is replaced or requires reprogramming, the following procedures must be performed in the specified order:

  1. BCM Setup - Using a scan tool, go to Vehicle Control Systems Β» Computer/Integrating Systems Β» Module Setup Β» Body Control Module. Select Setup BCM and follow the on-screen instructions, making sure to select the proper RPOs and input the VIN correctly.
  2. BPP Sensor Calibration. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration
  3. Program Key Fobs. Refer to Transmitter Programming
  4. Setup SDM Part Number in BCM - Using a scan tool, go to Vehicle Control Systems Β» Computer/Integrating Systems Β» Module Setup Β» Body Control Module. Select Setup SDM Part Number in BCM and follow the on-screen instructions.
