  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3).
  4. Reposition the engine wiring harness terminal boot (4).
  5. Remove the engine wiring harness terminal lead to generator nut (1).
  6. Remove the engine wiring harness terminal (2) from the generator stud.

  8. Remove the power steering line clip nut (1).
  9. Remove the power steering line clip (2) from the generator stud and reposition the lines out of the way.

  11. Remove the generator through bolt (3).

  13. Remove the generator side bolt and stud.
  14. Remove the generator.
