  1. Install the negative battery cable.
  2. Install the negative battery cable terminal (1) to the transaxle stud.
  3. Install the engine wiring harness terminal (2) to the transaxle stud.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Install the engine wiring harness nut (3).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  7. Install the negative battery cable clip (4) to the battery tray.
  8. Install the negative battery cable ground terminal (2) to the tie bar stud.
  9. Install the negative battery cable ground terminal nut (1) to the tie bar.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  10. Install tape in order to secure the negative battery cable to the positive battery cable.
  11. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and ConnectionΒ .
