Your vehicle has customization (personalization) capabilities that allow you to program certain features to one preferred setting. Customization (personalization) features can only be programmed to one setting on the vehicle and cannot be programmed to a preferred setting for two different drivers.

All of the customization (personalization) options may not be available on your vehicle. Only the options available will be displayed on your DIC.

The default settings for the customization (personalization) features were set when your vehicle left the factory, but may have been changed from their default state since then.

The customization (personalization) preferences are automatically recalled.

To change customization (personalization) preferences, use the following procedure.

When to See a Mechanic

Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

  • β€’ You smell fuel, burning insulation, or see smoke.
  • β€’ Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
  • β€’ The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
  • β€’ You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
  • β€’ You are not confident in the next step or safety outcome.
