- Connect a test lamp between the park enable signal circuit and battery positive voltage.
- Ignition ON, place the transmission in the PARK position. The test lamp should not illuminate.
- If the test lamp does illuminate, test for a short to ground on the park enable signal circuit. If the circuit tests normal and the DTC is current, replace the BCM.
- If the circuit tests normal and the DTC is current, test or replace the SEO device.
