- Position the shield to the vehicle, aligning the front hole stud. Place the rear of the shield under the rear shield and against the underbody.
- Install the nut and tighten.
Tighten:Β Tighten the heat shield-to-underbody nut to 10 N.m (89 lb ft).
- Install the rivets.
- Install the manifold exhaust pipe. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (L66)Β or Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (L61)Β .
