2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Route the shift lock control solenoid wires through the opening in the control assembly.

  3. Insert the wire terminals into the connector body.

  5. Position the solenoid to the control assembly and install the solenoid pop rivet with a rivet gun.
  6. Install the automatic transaxle control assembly. Refer to Shift Control Replacement in Automatic Transaxle - 4T40-E/4T45-E.
  7. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zones in SIR.
