- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Lower the automatic level control (ALC) air compressor assembly. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement .
- Remove the ALC compressor relay. Refer to Automatic Level Control Relay Replacement .
- Remove the ALC shield bolt (1) and retainers.
- Remove the ALC shield (2) from the vehicle.
