2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26 Static Fill)Β , Draining and Filling Cooling System (LY7 Static Fill)Β  or Draining and Filling Cooling System (L26, LY7, GE 47716 Fill)Β .
  2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Drain Cock

  3. Remove the radiator drain plug by unscrewing counter clockwise and pulling straight out. The seal usually comes out attached to the plug.
  4. Clean the drain and the drain plug.
