  1. Touch-up the paint, if required, at the cut line. Refer to Basecoat/Clearcoat Paint Systems in Paint/Coating.
  2. Cut the front of dash insulator at the brake booster, if required.
  3. Position the insulator to the dash.
  4. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  5. Install the insulator by pulling down from the underside of the vehicle.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
  7. Install the retainers to the front of dash insulator.
