  1. Install the theft deterrent control module.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Tighten the theft deterrent control module screws.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the screws to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  4. Install the ignition switch. Refer to Ignition Switch Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  5. Perform the vehicle theft deterrent system learn procedure. Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System ComponentsΒ .
  6. Program the theft deterrent control module after replacement. Refer to Control Module References in Computer/Integrating Systems.
