Enabling Procedure

2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Enabling Procedure

  1. Remove the key from the ignition switch.

  3. Connect the EFS connector to the EFS (2).
  4. Connect the CPA to the EFS connector.

  6. Install the AIR BAG (IGN) and AIR BAG (BATT) fuses into the body control module fuse center (1).
  7. Use caution while reaching in and turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

    The AIR BAG indicator will flash then turn OFF.

  8. Perform the SIR Diagnostic System Check if the AIR BAG warning indicator does not operate as described. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle .
