2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 8Β .
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Driver) or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Passenger) in Doors.
  3. Fig 1: Disconnecting Electrical Connector

  4. Remove the fasteners securing the sensor to the vehicle and remove the sensor from the vehicle.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.
