- Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 8 .
- Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Driver) or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Passenger) in Doors.
- Remove the fasteners securing the sensor to the vehicle and remove the sensor from the vehicle.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
