- Route the new negative battery cable along the harness and secure using plastic tie straps.
- Connect the negative battery cable to the vehicle ground locations, left upper frame rail and transaxle case.
Tighten: Tighten the negative battery cable to chassis to 12.5 N.m (9.5 lb ft).
- Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement .
IMPORTANT:
When routing new cable, ensure enough cable is left near the battery to make connections at the end of this procedure.
