2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install a NEW throttle body gasket (7).
  2. Install the throttle body (8).
  3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Install the throttle body bolts (9) and nuts (10).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts/nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Reposition the heater inlet and outlet pipes and install the pipe bracket to the throttle body studs.
  7. Install the heater inlet and outlet pipe nuts (1).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  9. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the ETC.
  10. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct ReplacementΒ .
  11. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  12. Perform the Throttle Learn Procedure. Refer to Throttle/Idle Learn .
