  1. Remove the battery box cover (1).

  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LE5, LE9, LZ4, LZE, or LY7)Β .
  4. Disconnect the positive battery cable (2).

  6. Remove the battery tie down bolt (1).
  7. Remove the battery hold down retainer (2).
  8. Remove the battery from the battery tray (3).
