Preliminary Procedures

  1. Position window approximately half way down in the door.
  2. Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
1 Front Side Door Window to Regulator Bolt (Qty: 2)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

  1. Loosen the window to regulator bolts.
  2. Push the window to the full up position and tape in place.

Tighten:Β  10 N.m (89 lb in)

2 Front Door Window Regulator Bolt (Qty: 4)
Procedure:Β 
Disconnect window regulator electrical connector.

Tighten:Β  10 N.m (89 lb in)

3 Front Door Window Regulator
Tip:Β  The driver door window regulator and motor MUST be replaced as an assembly. The right door is serviceable as door window regulator or motor.
