2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

IMPORTANT: When installing a new BPMV, do NOT remove the shipping plugs from the pipe ports until after installation into the vehicle.
  1. Install the EBCM, if removed. Refer to Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement (Without RPO LAT)Β  or Electronic Brake Control Module Replacement (With RPO LAT)Β .
  2. Fig 1: View Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) Bracket Components

  3. Install the BPMV to the bracket (1).
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  5. Install the BPMV bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. IMPORTANT: Note the location of the brake pipes to aid installation.
