Installation Procedure

2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Make sure the EGR valve mating surface is clean.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the EGR valve with a new gasket and new attachment bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the EGR valve bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  5. Connect the EGR valve harness connector. Push the connector in until the lock position is felt, then pull back to confirm engagement.
