- Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement .
- Remove the steering column trim covers.
- Disconnect the automatic transmission shift lock control connector.
- Use a screwdriver to pry the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column support assembly.
- Remove the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column.
