Removal Procedure

2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement .
  2. Remove the steering column trim covers.

  4. Disconnect the automatic transmission shift lock control connector.

  6. Use a screwdriver to pry the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column support assembly.
  7. Remove the automatic transmission shift lock control from the steering column.
