Preliminary Procedures

  1. Open the rear compartment lid.
  2. Remove either the LH or RH side rear compartment side trim panels. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement .
1 Tail Lamp Assembly Nut (Qty: 3)
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tip:Β  Ensure the gaskets are on the tail lamp studs prior to re-assembly of the tail lamp assembly into the body rear end panel.

Tighten:Β  6 N.m (53 lb in)

2 Tail Lamp Assembly
Tip:Β  Upon installation, ensure to align and seat the lower outer alignment pin and gasket to the outer body rear end panel.
3 Tail Lamp Bulb Socket

Procedure

  1. Rotate both bulb sockets counterclockwise from the tail lamp assembly in order to remove the tail lamp assembly.
  2. Remove the tail lamp assembly from the vehicle.
