Preliminary Procedure:Β 
Remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement .
1 High Mounted Stop Lamp Assembly Electrical Connection
Tip:Β  Disconnect the electrical connector.
2 Retention Clip (Qty: 2)
Tip:Β  Disconnect the retention clips securing the center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) to the rear trim package shelf.
3 High Mounted Stop Lamp Assembly
Tip:Β 
  • The high mounted stop lamp is serviced as a unit, LED assembly.
  • Roll the high mounted stop lamp assembly forward in order to remove the lamp from the rear trim package shelf.
