2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  3. Remove the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement .
  4. Remove the theft deterrent module (TDM) wiring harness from the steering column harness.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  7. Pull the TDM (2) away from the lock cylinder housing (1).
