2006 Pontiac G6 GTP, 2D Coupe, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the muffler assembly over the rear axle and towards the rear of the vehicle.
  2. Install the exhaust hanger insulators to the exhaust pipes.

  4. Install a new catalytic converter gasket.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  6. Install the catalytic converter to muffler nuts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nuts to 34 N.m (25 lb ft).

  7. Lower the vehicle.
