- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the RCDLR.
- Ignition ON, test for greater than 1 ohm between the keyless entry serial data circuit and ground.
- If less than 1 ohm, test the keyless entry serial data circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, replace the BCM.
- If all circuits test normal, test or replace the RCDLR.
