Installation Procedure
2004 Pontiac Montana Van PassengerSECTION Installation Procedure
- Insert the ignition lock cylinder through the upper shroud.
- Align the lock cylinder retaining tab and the position tab with the slots in the lock housing.
- Push the lock cylinder into the ignition lock cylinder case completely.
- Install the LOWER trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
- Install the tilt wheel lever.
- Install the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement .
- Install the inflator module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in SIR.
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical.
