Installation Procedure
2004 Pontiac GTO StandardSECTION Installation Procedure
- Remove the caps or the plugs from the brake pipes.
- Install the brake pipe (1) and the fittings (2).
- Install the brake pipe to the brackets as necessary.
- Install the brake pipe retainers (3) as necessary.
- Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System BleedingΒ .
- If you removed a tire and wheel assembly, install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- If you raised the vehicle, lower the vehicle.
- Inspect the hydraulic brake system for leaks. Repair as necessary. Refer to Brake System External Leak InspectionΒ .
