- Open and raise the hood.
- Remove the upper radiator shroud. Refer to Fan Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
- Disengage the primary hood latch (1) from the radiator support panel (2).
- Disengage the hood latch release cable (5) from the primary hood latch (1).
- Rotate the primary hood latch (1) in the vertical position, and remove from radiator support lower primary hood latch hole (6) and radiator support upper primary hood latch hole (7).
