Removal Procedure

2004 Pontiac GTO StandardSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Ensure that the radio is turned OFF.
  2. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Quarter Upper in Interior Trim.
  3. Disconnect the FM antenna/demister connector (1), and the AM antenna connector (2), from the rear window connectors.
  4. Disconnect three connectors (3, 4, 5), from the antenna amplifier module (6).
  5. Remove two screws (7), securing the antenna amplifier to the vehicle.
  6. Remove the amplifier retaining screws, then remove the amplifier from the vehicle.
