The following conditions may cause an intermittent: Intermittent open or short to ground in circuit No. 1122 (Light Blue wire) or No. 1037 (Light Green wire); poor connections; or intermittent in splice pack SP205. BCM may store DTC U1040 if certain diagnostics are performed between EBTCM and Data Link Connector (DLC).
