DTC B2806, RFA Link Parity Error: Notes

Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) sends a message to BCM indicating which operation need to be performed. DTC B2806 will set when BCM detects a message with a parity error it does not recognize from RCDLR. No driver warning message will be displayed.

A current DTC B2806 is cleared automatically at conclusion of message containing parity error. If conditions for malfunction no longer exist, history DTC will clear after 100 consecutive ignition cycles. DTC B2806 will also clear when scan tool is used to clear codes.

NOTE: If DTC B2806 is a history code, problem may be intermittent. Wiggle wires while performing the following test.
