DTC B0807, Battery For Door Lock Circuit (Open): Testing

- If BCM diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If BCM diagnostic system check was not performed, go to BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECKΒ .
- Check DOOR LOCKS fuse (20-amp), located in instrument panel fuse block. If fuse is okay, go to next step. If fuse is blown, go to step 4).
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect BCM 10-pin connector C3. Using test light, backprobe between ground and BCM harness connector C3 terminal "J" (Orange wire). If test light illuminates, go to step 5). If test light does not illuminate, go to step 6).
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect BCM 10-pin connector C3. Using test light, backprobe between battery voltage and BCM harness connector C3 terminal "H" (Tan wire). If test light illuminates, go to step 9). If test light does not illuminate, go to step 10).
- Turn ignition off. Reinstall all components and connectors. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Check for DTCs. If DTC B0807 sets again, go tostep 7). If DTC B0807 does not set again, system is operating properly.
- Repair poor connection or open in Orange wire between BCM connector C3 and instrument panel fuse block. Go to step 8).
- Turn ignition off. Replace BCM. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATIONΒ . Reprogram BCM. See BCM PROGRAMMING. Go to step 8).
- Turn ignition off. Reinstall all components and connectors. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Perform BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECKΒ .
- Repair short to ground in Tan wire between appropriate door lock and BCM connector C3. Replace DOOR LOCKS fuse. Go to step 8).
- Repair short to ground in Gray wire between appropriate door lock and BCM connector C3. Replace DOOR LOCKS fuse. Go to step 8).
