Transmitter Programming

NOTE:
Following procedure must be performed when replacing RKE module or either transmitter.
- Sit in driver's seat. Remove ignition key from lock cylinder. Close all vehicle doors. Remove MALL PGM fuse from fuse panel.
- Insert ignition key, turn ignition to ACC position. Turn ignition to OFF, then back to ACC within one second. Open then close any vehicle door. Chime will be heard when remote control door lock receiver enters programming/diagnostic mode. If chime is not heard, repeat procedure.
- Depress and hold transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 14 seconds. One chime should be heard at 7 to confirm successful synchronization and 14 seconds to confirm successful programming.
- Repeat step 3) for each transmitter to be programmed. Remove ignition key. Install MALL PGM fuse.
